Not certain what happened...but there has been a definite shift in the value of the service at Clairemont Cycle Supply... I brought in a non running bike...and picked up a non running bike. that was allegedly finished. I brought it in with no spark...go the call that it was done and ready to go. A new battery and 75.00 later...I get the call that the bike was done, and needed the carb cleaned... I brought the bike home, cleaned the carb....turned it over...No Spark. I called, still willing to spend my money with Clairemont, and give them the chance to stand behind their work, Instead, Jamie what good enough to have a rotten attitude, not even considering offering to bring the bike back in...and hung up on me... Ive ridden a bike since 1984, and Ive never had this sort of experience with a shop. I typically do my own work...but Japanese dirt bikes are not my specialty. Youre competition will appreciate your pleasant attitude and approach to customer service. Previously, I had only used CCS for tire changes. Those...they seem to be able to execute flawlessly.

Took in my Cervelo to upgrade components to SRAM Force 11 speed and ended up rebuilding both wheels. They did a masterful job. Chris's knowledge ensured seamless precision of all components. It's like having a brand new bike. Totally recommend these guys without reservations.

Great bike shop! If you are looking for BMX bikes, look no further. Well stocked, great service, and standard retail prices. So the bikes of course are the draw to this shop, but it's the staff that really shines. Highly recommended!

From the moment I got there, Chris gave me individual attention. They were very knowledgeable about their craft. I asked them for a difficult task (rush job) and they came through. They have a tremendous amount of aftermarket parts also. Thanks again! Wethepeople

San Diego Bike Shop

San Diego Bike Shop

San Diego Bike Shop was the product of the owner’s genuine love for bikes. He has a memorable youth brought by his bicycling hobby up to his teenage years. An unfortunate event drove him away from the cycling world but not for long. In 1998, his leasing of a location for his pedicab business paved the way to the founding of San Diego Bike Shop later on. It all started with cyclers passing by inquiring about repairs and bicycle parts. He saw the potential of the market and by April of 1998, San Diego Bike Shop was established. Throughout the years, the store has been the neighborhood’s favorite owing to its service quality and their wide variety of products.
