I got it sorted out after trial & error: I uninstalled (by mistake) Realtek Audio installer in Control Panel (Programs.....) which removed all my audio drivers, rebooted and luckily Windows installed default audio drivers (HD) in both speakers and Sound and Game controller devices. That resulted in a very loud sound and had also the usual sound setting for Loudness Enhancement that I was looking for, but music sounds like in a tin can (low quality). Then when I opened Realtek Audio Console app it would not open. So the Realtek speakers operate with the Realtek Audio Console (not a program but an app) that has Acer's latest "Trueharmony" effect which reduces the sound mid range frequencies. If I disable the Speakers (top Device manager, Audio) everything works (sound is OK) but Realtek Audio Console does not have the Acer "Trueharmony" option anymore. So I learned from this that MS HD Audio drivers are loud but with cheap tin sound even with Loudness Enhance on. The Realtek Audio drivers will install in the Sound Video and Game controller device only if you run setup.exe in the downloaded Realtek sound driver folder Audio_Realtek_6.0.8699.1_W10x64 and Windows installs then the generic low quality speaker driver "Audio End Point builder" to allow "Trueharmony" effect by Acer. Bottom line there was nothing wrong with my Acer 54 sound it has just lower volume than the earlier 52-3 models but better quality due to "Trueharmony" effect that Acer added to its end 2019 models. I also downloaded the Realtek Audio Console and tried to reinstall that app but there is no setup.exe only an install.cmd and when I ran that as admin it failed after several warnings so that is not a driver but a (non-windows10 64 bit?) application and I have no idea how to install that in my Windows version, possibly with a PowerShell command? never mind the RTconsole I have now seems to be working OK.
