LEX is a venture-backed commercial real estate securities marketplace. We help building owners access a new form of capital by taking single commercial real estate assets public, and we help investors by providing accredited and non-accredited investors alike with a new investment opportunity. Through LEX, investors can purchase shares for $250 at the time of IPO, earn their share of distributions when the building pays them, and offer their shares to trade via the proprietary LEX alternative trading system without fees or holding periods. The LEX trading platform is powered by Nasdaq, using the same high performance trading features used by 70+ global markets.
About the Role:
LEX is hiring our first Trading Operations Analyst to support the logistics, mechanics and back office workflows that are the foundation of our broker dealer and alternative trading system. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring the state of the LEX ATS market, from start-of-day checks, to market hours risk operations, to end of day reporting. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, compliance, partners, and firm customers to ensure timely and accurate settlement of trades, books and records, and avoidance of unanticipated risk to both the firm and its customers.
We look for candidates with a strong technical foundation, as you will also have the opportunity to work closely with software engineers to further automate and enhance robustness of the firm’s operations workflows. You will not only become an expert in the logistics and mechanics of trade clearance, settlement and reporting, but also play a crucial role in the ability of the firm to enable trading efficiently and safely, perform challenging and stimulating data analysis, and participate in the architecture of new systems and controls.
We look for motivated, detail oriented candidates with a solid technical foundation and who have a drive toward process improvement.
